Day Tours: Eastern coast of Taveuni - Drive will take about 1 hour from where the boat docks on Taveuni. Visit the spectacular Bouma Waterfalls in Taveuni Island's 15,000 hectare Bouma National Heritage Park. Established in 1990 to protect much of Taveuni Island's virgin rainforest, the Park also helps generate an income for the four villages whose land is bound by it. Visits to the Park are weather permitting and incur round-trip boat and car transfer charges; minimum 4 people FJD135 per person; minimum 6 people FJD95 per person. In addition, a park entrance fee of FJD12 per person is payable at the Park Ranger's office. The Lavena Coastal walk on the coastal boundary of the Bouma National Heritage Park, this walk offers you an opportunity to experience a mixture of remote beaches, virgin tropical rainforest and traditional gardens. The walk, which takes three to four hours (round-trip), is a wonderful trek for the outdoor adventurer. A minimum of 4 people, a round-trip boat and car transfer charge of FJD135 per person applies. For a minimum of 6 people, a round-trip boat and car transfer charge of FJD95 per person. In addition, a park entrance fee is payable at the Park Ranger's office. It is great to combine both a visit to Bouma and do the Lavena coastal walk. A picnic lunch is availalble.
Visit the Waitabu Marine Park on Taveuni Island's rain forested Eastern Coast where the people of Waitabu Village will take you to snorkelling sites on a Bilibili or traditional Fijian bamboo raft. Visitors to the Park and weather and tide permitting and incur round-trip boat and car transfer charges; minimum 4 people FJD135 per person; minimum 6 people FJD95 per person. In addition, an entrance fee is payable at the Park Ranger's officePark, this walk offers you an opportunity to experience a mixture of remote beaches, virgin tropial rainforest and traditional gardens .
Day Tours: Western coast of Taveuni.
Dingheys: We have four fun sailing dinghys available for your use free of charge. Please make sure that you wear a safety jacket.
Fishing: Both hand-line fishing and light tackle sport fishing is available . Year round we catch a variety of fish including Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Walu, Barracuda, Giant Trevally, Tuna and Scad Mackerel. For information on fishing charter rates, please see our activities crew.Saltwater fly-fishing from our Oean-frontage is possible, however you must supply your own gear.
Hikes:Our coastal and ridge-top hiking trails provide some of the finest scenery in the surrounds of our lush vigin tropical rainforest. Our trails are all natural, so please take care . There are no harmful bugs or spiders but there are hornets, wasps, bees and bull ants that can be easily avoid by not disturbing their nests. dont foget to take your camera and water. If you would like a guide one of our staff is happy to join you. If you would like to take a packed lunch to 'Top of the World' we are happy to provide one for you!
Kayaks:Single and double kayaks are available for your use free of charge. Kayaking provides a great way to explore the inlets and beaches up-close. A good tip is to avoid kayaking near the reef's edge where steep waves form and can overturn a kayak; and also in the shallow coral areas where sharp corals can puncture a kayak's hull. We require that you wear safety jackets when out on the Kayaks. In the unlikely event you get coral cuts, please see our activities staff for basic First Aid assistance.

Picnics:A private picnic can be arranged at a number of private beaches in the area or escape to 'top of the world' and enjoy the peace, serenity and amazing vistas.
Scuba Certification:Full scuba certification can be arranged however advance notice is required to have an Instructor available at the Resort. For more information, please enquire with our dive crew.
Scuba Diving: Scuba diving is arranged daily from our Dive Centre. Divers are required to produce a dive certification cardand fill out our liability form prior to diving with us. Our dive boat departs daily around 8:30 am. If a scheduled 3 tank dive is offered lunch will be at a beach close to the Dive Site. if a 2 tank dive is planned the boat will return to the resort for lunch. To ensure the best dive experience, dive sites are selected according to daily tidal movements and prevailing weather conditions.Our daily 2-tank dive rate is FJD$ per diver. A prepaid 5 day/10 tank package is also available for fjd$ per diver. unlimited shore diving free of charge. Gear hire is available. For charges, please enquire with our dive crew.
Snorkelling;We offer many snorkelling sites within our area, masks, snorkel and fins are available for your use free of charge. If the Dive boat has room and is going to an area suitable for snorkellers you are welcome to go, please enquire with our activities crew. Note: If you are snorkelling anywhere in the bay around the resort where boat traffic is expected, please take care. For your safety, we recommend that you always snorkel with a buddy.
Spear fishing :and collecting live shells and corals is not permitted. We ask that you help us to preserve the pristine reefs in this area by taking the necessary care to avoid damage to the live corals.
Village Tours: Visit a Fijian village on the neighbouring island and catch a glimpse of Fijian village life. Tours are offered once a week, weather and tidal access permitting. A small contribution from guests is required for the customary presentation of kava to the village chief.Please dress appropriately out of respect for local customs. Many guests like to bring things for the village children. Any school items are always gratefully appreciated.
